We Thank All Who Have Served: Veterans Day November 11, 2023
Created on November 3rd, 2023Veterans Day, observed annually on the 11th day of November, is a time for honoring all men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of all those who have served and their families. We are especially thankful to honor and recognize members of our UCSD team who also served in the U.S. Armed Forces. #thankful4U

If you’re curious about the differences between Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Armed Forces Day, here is a brief description of each:
- Veterans Day—A day to honor and give thanks to all men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces (observed November 11).
- Memorial Day—A day to remember and honor all men and women who died while in service of our country (observed the last Monday in May).
- Armed Forces Day—A day to honor and give thanks to all men and women who are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces (observed the third Saturday in May).
