As part of their CultureALL workshops, Metro West students had a unique opportunity to learn about Chinese Calligraphy on February 7. The CultureALL Ambassador facilitated a group discussion about the origin of language and shared how the Chinese language is based on pictographs. Students gained insight into the meaning behind various Chinese characters and then had an opportunity to practice writing the characters which date back thousands of years.
