Metro West Learning Academy recently began their seven-week group workshop with CultureALL, an organization that provides educational sessions for participants to learn about various cultural traditions. Throughout the seven weeks, students will get to learn about different cultures from CultureAll ambassadors who will share personal stories, music, art, artifacts, and other activities. During the first workshop, Metro West students learned how Henna art is made, the origin of Henna art, and even tried it out themselves (note: the dye wears off after a week or two). It was a fun and engaging way for students to develop a greater appreciation for a tradition that dates back over 5,000 years. #MWpride #empoweringU
