2024-25 Handbook Sign Off

According to the Iowa Code 2024, Code § 279.65 mandates that each school district must require that the parent or guardian of each student enrolled in the school district acknowledges receipt of the applicable student handbook, either in writing or electronically.

If you registered prior to July 10, 2024 then you will need to go into PowerSchool and acknowledge the NEW 2024-25 Handbook under Forms (within the General Forms tab).

To complete this requirement, ALL parents/guardians MUST:

  1. Review the applicable handbook(s) for their student(s).
  2. Complete the Electronic Acknowledgment of Student Handbooks in PowerSchool.

Below are links to the Parent/Guardian & Student Handbook and translated versions for Bosnian, Burmese, Spanish, Hakha Chin, and Swahili for the 2024-2025 school year that must be published annually, on or before the beginning of the school calendar. The PreK-12 handbook and appendices provide basic information related to the expectations of parents/guardians and students in the grade level or activities to which the handbook or appendix applies. This includes, but is not limited to, information related to academics, attendance, discipline, health and safety, and daily schedules.

Please review the handbook(s) relevant for your student. More translated versions of the handbook will be added below and to the UCSD website, Handbooks for Students and Parents page, as they become available.

YOU MUST COMPLETE the ELECTRONIC ACKNOWLEDGMENT FORM by August 22, 2024.
