Application of Literacy Standards
- Students apply reading, writing, speaking and listening in social studies on a daily basis
- Students communicate and show their learning in social studies through literacy skills

- Students use content to better understand the past, present, and our future
- Students use content to make informed and reasoned decisions for the public good
- Students use content to demonstrate awareness of diverse groups and individuals and social responsibility
