Science Curriculum

The Urbandale Community School District encourages all students to value science and health. All students will develop and apply knowledge of scientific and wellness concepts to reason, think creatively, make decisions, and solve problems. Through active participation, students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to function effectively in society as lifelong learners. The UCSD Science curriculum includes concepts and skills in life science, earth and space science, physical science, and health. Students use inquiry to understand and learn science concepts and skills. UCSD Science is aligned with Iowa Core Science.
