Hi, my name is Megan Thorsen. This is my ninth year as an interventionist in Urbandale, and my fifteenth year as a teacher.  I graduated from Luther College with my reading endorsement in 2010, and from Drake University with my master’s degree in teacher effectiveness and professional development and reading specialist endorsement in 2014.

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband (Eric), 8-year old son (Gavin),  4-year old daughter (Elsie),  2-year old son (Colin), and our dog (Mia). I also like to read, bake, and go for walks.
