Hello! My name is Ms. Leilani Emerson, and I am proud to be your child’s kindergarten teacher. I am very excited to be a part of the kindergarten team at Olmsted. This will be my 14th year teaching. I look forward to helping your child discover a joy for learning and gain confidence in his or her own abilities. 

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with a Masters in Education degree in 2012. I also earned my Bachelors degree in elementary and middle school education at UNI. Go Panthers!  My teaching endorsements include: K-6 Elementary Classroom, K-8 Reading, 5-8 Middle School Language Arts, and 5-8 Middle School Mathematics.

I believe that by all of us working together we can make this a very successful year.
