ALL ABOUT ME

The 2024-2025 school year is going to be outstanding year of learning and fun.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher in 4th grade. I have enjoyed every a minute of it. It is the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. I graduated with my teaching degree from UNI and taught 3^rd grade in intercity Houston several  years. I returned to Iowa and went to Grandview and received my Special Education degree and started teaching at Olmsted. I taught special education, 2nd, 3rd, 4th,  grade and 5^th grade before transferring to Jensen and back to Olmsted to teach 4^th grade.  Now, I so lucky to teach 2nd grade.  It is so much fun to see them joy  learning.   I am very excited!

My free time is very busy spending time with my family and friends. I have five beautiful nieces that still like to come and visit even though they are busy working. .   I like to travel and visit my cousins during the summer.  I also go to many Vikings games even though I am a huge Packer fan. 

If I am not trying to get housework done you will usually find me reading a book. I try and get all my reading done in the summer.  I can read new and interesting children’s books during the school year.

This will be a fun year in our new elementary school building!
