The mission of the TLC Team is to support all staff in continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the UCSD system by building collaborative partnerships.

Instructional Coaches are available to:

• Partner with teachers to meet classroom strategic goals
• Partner with teachers to strengthen classroom learning systems
• Model effective teaching practices
• Support data-gathering and analysis in classrooms and buildings (classroom, PLC, & data days)
• Attend PLC meetings
• Support development and implementation of the Building Improvement Plan, including professional development for staff
• Support RTI/MTSS efforts at the building level through collaboration with teachers and principals
• Assist in analyzing evaluation data of initiatives and implementation efforts for building and district initiatives
• Facilitate curriculum and assessment planning and implementation
