Physical Education 2014 – 2015
Mr. Larson
My 3 Rules:
- Be Safe
- Be Respectful
- Have FUN!
My Expectations:
I expect students to try there hardest and be positive, even if the activity is unfamiliar or difficult. My students are to be courteous to each other, as well as staff. Most importantly the students will follow the rules and guidelines of the activity, to provide a safe environment for physical activities and allowing all students chances to succeed in my classroom.
Discipline Actions:
There will be two verbal warnings, for disruptive behavior. After that the student will be told to sit out and watch the activity. After the student has calmed down, they will be asked to join the activity.
*If the disruptive behavior persists I will make a call home to discuss the students’ behavior in my class. I will also have a pink slip of paper that needs to be signed by a parent and returned to me at the next class period.
Attire Expected:
- Students should know that on P.E. days they will be working hard and should wear something that they do not mind getting sweaty or dirty.
- *Sneakers are a must*
Students wearing boots, sandals, flip-flops, etc. will be given a warning to bring correct footwear to the next class and may have to participate in an alternate activity.
Free Days:
- Classes will receive a daily grade in each class period. (1-4)
- Classes will collect 8 overall grades of 1 to receive the free day.
- Each class is given the grade at the end of the day to let the students and teacher know exactly how they have performed in class for the day.
