Welcome to 3rd Grade!
MEET ME!
My name is Chelsie McBee! I am so excited to start my twelfth year teaching at Valerius. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve taught special education for 3 years, 4th grade for 1 year and 3rd grade for 7 years.
I graduated from Graceland University in 2012 with a major in Elementary Education with Reading and Special Education endorsements. In 2013 I went back to Graceland University and completed my Master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction.
I grew up in Southeast Iowa and moved to the Des Moines Metro shortly after college. Outside of school I enjoy shopping, being at the pool, the beach or going boating, and spending time with my friends and family; my husband, Bo, our 3 year old daughter, Kollyns, and our almost 1 year old son, Maverick.
I know this is going to be a great year and I look forward to working with you and your child!
