Registration for Girls on the Run is Now Open!

Girls on the Run registration is now OPEN! This season, Girls on the Run isn’t just back – it’s updated to address the needs of today’s girls better than ever.

By joining us for another GOTR season, your girl can continue building her confidence, nurturing her emotional health, and deepening her skills as an independent thinker. Our updated curriculum – appropriately titled Hello, Mountain Mover! – maintains all the magic your girl loved last season, but with new lessons that expand on self-confidence, fostering friendships, and celebrating diversity and inclusion.

Season Details:

  • Online Lottery Registration: Now-February 17-21
  • Practice begins: Week of March 24
  • End-of-Season 5K: Sunday, May 18 at 2PM at the State Capitol Complex

As you may remember, our program creates an inclusive environment, uses an evidence-based model, and is led by trained volunteer coaches. This season, participants will:

  • Discover their I Can! Power to try new things
  • Learn about how to take on challenges – even when it is hard
  • Play fun movement-based games that promote resilience
  • Participate in thought-provoking activities that teach valuable life skills

Your girl deserves to be a part of this kind of magic again.

Lottery Registration

The lottery system provides every family an equal opportunity to register and equal access to participate in Girls on the Run. Lottery registration will be open until February 21 at 10 AM. If more participants are registered than the number of available spots on a team, the registration system will randomly select participants for that team. All additional participants will remain in “lottery status” and be placed on the waitlist for full teams. Teams that are not at capacity will include all participants registered at that time. Registration will then re-open after the completion of the lottery and additional participants will be added on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached for each team.
