November NO SCHOOL Dates at Karen Acres | Intersession Class Offered
Created on November 6th, 2024There will be no school at Karen Acres the week of Thanksgiving, November 25-29. Classes will resume at 9:55am on Monday, December 2nd.
An Intersession Class – Cards of Kindness with Mrs. Schmida – is offered on November 25 and 26. Students will be designing and making cards for residents at a Retirement home. Students will also be creating card sized art to hide, for other students to find around the school to brighten their day. Students will design and create collaborative artwork with cards of positive messages. We will utilize styrofoam prints, watercolor, and scrapbooking methods to create art. Students will create art cards to take home and use throughout the year.
