End of the 23-24 School Year Celebrations at Karen Acres
Created on May 23rd, 20244th & 5th Grade Awards: June 12th, 8:00-8:45am
Awards for our 4th and 5th graders will be presented on Wednesday, June 12, 8:00-8:45am in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend this before school event. Families of students receiving awards will be notified ahead of time.
Last Day of School: June 13th
Our last day of school is Thursday, June 13th!
We will begin our celebration with an assembly for Kindergarten – 5th graders at 10:00am in the school gym. Parents are invited to join us starting at 9:45am. The Clap Out for our 5th graders will conclude the assembly at approximately 11:00am.
Our All-School Family Picnic begins immediately after the assembly with the following schedule:
- 11:15 5th grade
- 11:25 4th grade
- 11:35 2nd and 3rd grade
- 11:45 Kindergarten and 1st grade
Our Karen Acres PTO has ordered a picnic meal from our Nutrition Services Department:
**beef hot dog, baby carrots with ranch, watermelon, juice box and milk **
Currently enrolled students who order school lunch that day will have their lunch accounts charged. Families wishing to purchase an adult picnic lunch ($5) or non-enrolled student (ie younger sibling) picnic lunch ($3), may do so at:

Tickets need to be purchased by June 4! Families are also welcome to bring a sack lunch from home.
