Celebrations at Karen Acres for Homecoming Week : September 16-20, 2024

KA’s theme this year is a focus on Kindness:
- Monday, 9/16 – wear your favorite team gear
- Tuesday, 9/17 – wear camouflage, or the colors green, brown, or black
- Wednesday, 9/18 – wear your workout gear
- Thursday, 9/19 – wear tie-dye or bright colors
- Friday, 9/20 – wear J-Hawk gear, or the colors red, blue or white
Homecoming Classroom Parties: Organized by our Karen Acres PTO, classroom parties will take place on Friday, September 20th at 3:00pm.
- Volunteers are needed:
- When: Friday, September 20th from 2:45 pm to 3:40 pm
- Where: Karen Acres Elementary

5th Graders Walking in the Homecoming Parade – RSVP by September 17:
- We invite all 5th graders and their parents to walk with us in the Homecoming parade on Thursday, September 19th; line-up at UMS at 5:30 with parade starting at 6:00pm. This is a celebration of our 5th graders and a chance to show the rest of the community how amazing our student leaders are. We ask that every 5th grader walking in the parade have an adult identified to walk with them.
- Please fill out this short form by Tuesday, September 17th to let us know if your 5th grader will be walking in the parade.
