It’s time to start thinking about Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences are a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s progress this school year and to collaborate on their continued growth.

Conferences will be held on February 24 (Monday) and March 4 (Tuesday), from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Each conference is scheduled for 15 minutes. This year, we are offering both in-person and virtual options to accommodate your preference. Your student’s teachers will be sending you a parentsquare message with times you can sign up to meet with them in person or virtually.

Spring Progress Reports will be sent via email on February 24th.

If you have questions about your student’s conference please call the Valerius main office at 457-6500!

Staff Meals During Conferences

The Valerius PTO provides dinner for our teachers and staff during conferences. You can show your appreciation by contributing food items or monetary contributions.  Donations of any amount are appreciated and can be made any time at https://valeriuspto.square.site/.

 

Scholastic Book Fair

The Book Fair is coming!

Book Fairs benefit the Valerius library and classrooms with 50% of profits going directly to the school.

There’s so much to do and multiple opportunities to shop!  At the fair you will find book recommendations from your child’s teacher and have the option to donate books directly to their classroom with the TEACHER WISH LISTS found near the checkout.

  • Breakfast and Books:  Saturday, February 22 from 8 – 10 am    

Join us to kick off the fair!  Bring family and friends for early shopping, coffee, fruit, and donuts.

  • Conference Shopping:  Monday, February 24 and Tuesday, March 4 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm

Family and friends shop during conferences until 8 pm

  • Recess Shopping: TBD

Kids can shop during lunch recess using *E-Wallet or cash

*E-Wallet allows family and friends to load funds through an online account accessible at school. Review this option through our book fair homepage.
