Continual Improvement: Student
Urbandale believes in the inherent potential of all students and strives to help students discover, define, and develop their full potential. A critical component of being in a successful learning environment is for students to feel a greater sense of ownership and voice in their learning. Students determine what strategies work best for them to learn the content of their coursework, they set learning goals, and create action plans to achieve those goals. By tracking their learning data, students are able to see at every point throughout their coursework where they are in their learning, where they need to be, and have a true understanding of what’s needed to reach each goal. Learning in this way provides students the tools they need to become independent learners which will serve them well throughout their educational and professional lives.
